Look at Your Reservation Information!
Make sure you examine your reservation and verify the following details:
- From/To Dates - are they correct?
- From/To City - are they different?
- Names - are they correctly spelled?
- Restrictions - do you understand them?
Please go to our Help Desk
if you need help. If you aren't already aware of it, you can also
View Your Reservation
Passports & Visas at any time through our web site. If you book a "bargain fare"
flight on Continental Airlines, there is a chance that your reservation will be viewable only at
www.continental.com/eticket. Please
review your reservation to see if there are any codes beginning with S, T, U, V, or W. "Bargain fares"
are usually not ticketed instantaneously. As such, the A-Plus Travels web site initially may display a
warning message essentially as follows:
"Our reservation system shows that your itinerary is not
ticketed. Only ticketed itineraries can be viewed or added to your Profile."
This means that your reservation is "live" but your tickets have not yet been charged or issued. Later,
you will be allowed to view your reservation details after tickets are issued (Continental will
automatically issue e-tickets)! If you cannot view your reservation at any of the links referenced
herein, please Email Us immediately!
Booking Airline Tickets!
Please note that "bargain fare" tickets may not be booked immediately. A majority of
bookings are instantaneous. Those that are not are usually booked (ticketed) within 24
business hours. If your flight is scheduled for departure in less than 10 days,
and tickets have not been issued within 48 business hours, you should certainly
Email Us immediately! For
all bookings, always email us if you have seen no change in ticket status in one week.
Receiving & Using Your Tickets!
If your reservation requires a paper ticket, such tickets will be mailed via
Federal Express, UPS or DHL (Airborne) to the address that you provided. If you previously gave us
a PO Box as a billing address, please Email Us
with your current home address or an address where someone can sign for your tickets. In a majority of cases,
your should expect to be issued an electronic ticket.
International Travelers!
Please be aware that you may need a passport, travel visa and/or other documents for your travel
destination. If you are a citizen of the United States, you can go to the
Department of State web site for a list of countries
with their requirements for entry into or transit through each country. Please note that you may
need a "transit visa" if you are either "transiting" or switching planes in certain countries. If
your booked ticket falls into that category and you need a "last-minute" visa and
you are a US citizen, please call CIBT at Washington DC (800) 424-2429 or Los Angeles (800) 381-2428.
This can be expensive but may be cheaper than changing airlines. For Canadian citizens,
please
click here for information on visas. This is a general link for Canadians traveling abroad, which
connects to many other links. For citizens of other nations, you can speak by phone with persons at your
nation's embassy in Washington, DC. Click here then
select your country or origin on the embassy web site.
Last Minute Schedule Changes!
Your scheduled flight(s) may change due to internal airline schedule changes. We
will try to send schedule changes to you by email if we receive them from the airlines. Please
periodically
Check Your Reservation
Passports & Visas to see if your flights have changed. If you are routed through new cities,
only then will tickets need to be exchanged at the airport or mailed back to A-Plus Travels.
